Thermalright Ultra-90-K8 Heatsink - designed for cooling AMD K8 processors (AM2 Socket Support Available). The Ultra-90 utilizes any 90mm fan of your choice*. If you want to go for extreme, strap on a second fan and you get ultra cooling! Whatever your choice of fan(s) may be, the Ultra-90 will top other brands of heatsink in the 90mm-fan class. How? The advantage comes from the patent-pending design of the fins. In every corner of every fin, a “winglet” is created. This bending of the corners creates an increased air pressure and in return decreases air resistance, so even with low RPM you get massive air flow through the fins. And you know what that means…less noise, plus performance and quality no other heatsinks can match!

*Note: Thermalright tests have shown that Ultra-90 works best with a RPM of around 1000, it performs better than any other 90mm fan heatsinks, and that includes our own XP-90!! Performance and a peace of mind (and ear), what more could you ask for?

NOTE: If you have an AMD Socket AM2 motherboard you must get the AM2 Bracket with this heatsink!

Options

The following options are available:

Fan Options: This heatsink comes with no fan by default, but you can choose from one of our fan options located on the upper portion of this page.
- Sunon 92x25mm, 56cfm: 3pin with RPM, 92x25mm, 12VDC, 3400RPM, 56CFM, 39dBA
- Tornado 92x38mm, 119cfm: 92x38mm, 12VDC, 12.5W, 1.0A, 4800RPM, 119CFM, 56.4dBA includes fan guard and 4pin power with 3pin rpm sensor wire.
- A2017 Blue LED Smart Fan: 92x25mm, 12VDC, 17~48.65dBA, 1300~4000RPM, 24.6~78.7CFM. 3pin with RPM. Adjustable Fan with PCI fan control.
AM2 Bracket - Retention bracket for mounting with AMD AM2 Athlon 64 (Socket AM2) processors. This option is required for with Socket AM2
