Installation

Please remember these are floppy cables so it is normal for the wires to cross as is the case with all floppy drive cables.

First determine the pin 1 on both the floppy drive connector and floppy controller on the motherboard. The red wire will need to be placed at pin 1. Since the cable connectors are not notched you need to make sure that you have correctly determined the location of pin 1 on your floppy drive and motherboard connector. Here is a diagram of my motherboard and floppy drive connection. Yours may vary.
