The Swiftech H2O-220 Apex Ultra Liquid Cooling Kit  is the first kit in the industry to offer truly extreme dual use: maximum performance and minimum noise in the same package. Thanks to the new Apogee water-block, it benefits from a superior thermal performance and very low restriction characteristics. This makes the Apex Ultra a true high-flow system, capable of cooling multiple high-end CPU's and VGA's with optimum thermal performance and low noise.

As a result of the substantial cooling headroom afforded by the combination of our new MCR220-QP dual 120mm radiator, the APOGEE GT water-block, and the MCP655 pump, the APEX Ultra kit will satisfy both extremes of the enthusiast market spectrum:

  • Overclockers in search of the lowest CPU temperatures
  • Silent computing users in search of the lowest possible operating noise.

Sacrificing convenience was not an acceptable option when we developed this kit either. Given its size, the MCR220 dual 120mm radiator will not fit in most PC's without extensive modifications. Bearing this in mind, the H20-Apex kit includes the MCB120 "Radbox" which allows the radiator to be installed at the back of practically any mid-or full tower cases with no other modifications than a couple of holes. Overall thermal performance also clearly benefits from the use of our Radbox, and demonstrated in a number of field tests.

Customer Reviews

This kit is great, however it could use a few additions for the price. 10/26/2007 - by Martin Merriman from Columbus, ohio
Worth every penny. Keep in mind, this kit says that it works with a socket 478, however the screw kit for the 478 is OPTIONAL.

After fashioning my own screws my 478 runs at a cool 60 degrees Fahrenheit all the time, after leaving it on for over a week i expected at least a 4 or 5 degree shift, and its running great.

few suggestions.
1. electronic schematics for the fan pin and pump system.
2. Extended 4 pin mollux for those who run this radiator outside of their case.
3. Extra tubing, however home depot had the same material.
4. Including a secondary cooling block for the 2nd sli card.
5. including a northbridge cooling block.
6. Using metal clamps as opposed to plastic, the plastic clamps leaked like a siv, and i replaced them with 3/4 screw clamps (2 for a dollar) and it made a very big difference in spot checking for leaks.
