KAMA connect is the right tool for the job!!! 03/26/2007 - by Wes from New Jersey
This is the third IDE to USB device I have used, and the only one that worked. The first one fell apart when I connected it to the drive, and the second one from cables to go did not support 2.5" drives, even with the converter.
Hard drive just beeped.

I have had this drive for about a month now and love it. I mostly needed it for data recovery (I am a PC Tech) and have had great luck so far in recovering data from 3.5" IDE/SATA, and 2.5" IDE drives. You do need a 2.5" to 3.5" IDE converter but they are cheap. This device also worked with Feespire Linux (better at data recovery than Windows). Just pluged it in and it worked. The price is right on target if you add up what I spent on ones that did not work, even adding the 2.5" IDE converter.

Great tool!!!!!
