Dacal DC-300 CD Library II Disc Manager Dark Grey- Searching for CD/DVDs has never been easier! With this DVD/CD-R/CD-RW/CD Storage/Finder manager, it helps you search through thousands of the digital media files you may have. Each unit can store up to 150 DVD/CD-R/CDs with a maximum of 19,050 of them when 127 units are linked by computer USB hubs.

It's only limited by your imagination. Not only can it be operated independently but also be connected to a PC for creating a powerful storage and management system for quick information retrieval. Just locate the disk title on the screen, click it and the CD Manager will do the rest for you in no time.

Best of all, if you don't have a computer, you can still use CD Manager alone. You can easily locate the correct disk you want.

The DC - 300 CD Manager can be operated when not connected to a computer. Great for your DVD collection next to the TV. Once the CD has been used it can simply be replaced into the slot for further storage. The software also allows you to scan in CD/DVD covers to save within the database and retrieve based on the cover design. CD Manager comes complete with Power Adapter, USB Cable, CD Rom Driver and Database software, Management Form, User Guide and Security Key. The use of paper labels on CD's is not recommended as the increased thickness may result in the CD sticking.

  • CD Manager Model DC - 300 allows up to 150 CD's to be stored in a carousel style Library.
  • All CD's are securely locked avoiding any being misplaced or stolen.
  • Taking in to account the rapid growth of CD format technology the need has arisen for an efficient way to store, protect and retrieve CD's whilst being quick, easy to use and cost effective.

Customer Reviews

Handy for people who make a lot of backups 05/20/2007 - by KittyGirl from Chicago
Besides my own personal Backup Storage Drive, I tend to overwrite a lot of my CD/DVD-R's to make sure I have multiple copies in the unlikely event that I should lose it. Sadly, even with marking my labels, it can be a pain to find them. This thing reduces the time it takes for me to find CD-R A and DVD-R B.

Can't find a problem with it really, other then, I can't fit it on my desk because it's cluttered, and that's my problem not yours.
Think About This 04/05/2007 - by Greg Worley from Jacksonville, Florida
OKAY - if your going to go that far why not go ahead and put a CD-ROM in there and make it so it never has to come out of the unit you know like a juke box? Makes since to me.

Editor's Note: Point well taken. However, these models were not designed with an automatic CD/DVD drive in mind. It would have to be redesigned. This would add significant complexity and cost, which means higher price. We hope that a future model will support this feature, but for now the current models have proven highly reliable.
