Thermalright Archon CPU Heatsink - 775/1156/1366/AM2

The Thermalright Archon CPU Cooler was built for the ultimate cooling performance at low noise levels. The Archon is compatible with the latest Intel Core i7, i5 & AMD AM3 processors. This cooler comes equipped with one 160x140mm cooling fan, 6 x 6mm heatpipes,  & copper base with nickel plating to provide you with the best cooling performance possible. The Archon can accept either 120mm or 140mm cooling fans, and comes with one 160x140mm cooling fan by default. We have included several fan options on this page for your convenience if you wish to use different fans. The Archon comes stock with two sets of fan clips by default.

Options

• This heatsink comes with One 160x140mm fans by default. The Archon does come stock with fans clips for either 120mm or 140mm fans. We have added some nice alternative fan choices if you do not like the ones that come stock. The following options are available:

  • Yate Loon D14SL-12 - 140x25mm, 3pin or 4pin, 46.9cfm, 25dBA
• Lapping - Get the best performance from your heatsink with our Lapping option. We will lap the base giving it a nice flat and smooth finish. This option will Void the warranty of the heatsink making this product non-returnable once you have purchased this option. Lapped base is shown in picture to right. We start with a 220 grid and finish with a 1000 grit. Our goal is a flat smooth surface (not mirror finish).

• Large heatsink fan array provides dissipating area of up to 150x125mm, making complete use of the airflow with either a 140mm or 120mm fan.
• With the max width of 55mm, tall memory heat spreaders are avoided.
• Six sintered heatpipe design - all heatpipes are nickel plated to slow the oxidation & deterioration to the heatpipes. This helps to ensure longer usage and performance of the heatsink for the CPU.
• Supports Multiple-Platforms, and can be used on Intel Socket 775/1156/136 and AMD AM2/AM3 processors. For Intel sockets the pressure is adjustable (40~70 lbs.)
• Includes one Thermalright TY-140 PWM fan, Ultra low noise at 21dBA at max rpm
• Includes two sets of Fan-Clips that are compatible with both 140mm and 120mm fans.
• Includes a tube of CF III Thermal Paste.
