Swiftech Apogee GT Water Block

The Swiftech APOGEE GT Extreme Duty Universal Water Block offers unparalleled performance, durability, and quality. Using advanced computer aided analysis the APOGEE has been designed for extremely efficient cooling. The patent pending base features an extremely dense pin design that results in unparalleled cooling performance. This block is far less restrictive than other waterblocks which also greatly improves water flow and cooling. Up to 3C or better than standard Apogee block on Quad-Core processors!

• Extreme durability Delrin housing. Delrin is an automotive grade polymer that is extremely strong, tough, and durable. The housing has been subjected to extreme torture tests to verify it's durability.
• Base plate: CNC machined C110 copper, lapped to +/- 0.0003"
• Less restrictive design results in improved water flow and thus better cooling.
• Multi-waterblock friendly (SLi, CrossFire, dual CPU)

• AP-NC604 Mounting Kit - Although Apogee supports Intel Xeon processors please note that if you have an Intel Xeon "Nocona" 800MHz Front Side Bus version you will need the AP-NC604 Mounting Kit.

Performance Tweaking

During the course of CPU testing, Swiftech uncovered the fact that the overall performance of the water-block can greatly benefit (by up to 0.03C/W) by artificially inducing a bow -or a convex shape, in the water-block base plate. Further explanations and test results are provided HERE. A 3mm O-ring is included with Apogee GT waterblocks for this tweak.
