Thermalright TRUE Copper CPU Cooler
-
This all copper version of the now famous Ultra-120 Extreme pushes the cooling
envelope to the absolute extreme! The TRUE Copper features 6 cooling heat pipes. The Ultra-120 utilizes the
winglet design helping to minimize air resistance and maximize wind air flow.
You can easily attach any 120mm fan and watch those high CPU temperatures go way
down. With low fan RPM, it’s able to beat out any other brand of 120 mm HSF
running at the same fan speed.

- Mounting Kits -
- 939 Bolt Thru
Kit - Adapter that allows the
Ultra-120 Extreme to mount on a Socket 939 motherboard.
- Xeon Bolt Thru Kit - Adapter that
allows the True Black 120 to mount on Xeon 5000/7000 Series processors.
- LGA 1366 Bolt Thru Kit - This kit
is required to mount the Ultra-120 Extreme to an Intel LGA 1366 Socket
CPU.
-
Lapping -
Get the best performance
from your heatsink with our Lapping option. We will lap the base giving it a
nice flat and smooth finish. This option will Void the warranty of the
heatsink making this product non-returnable once you have purchased this
option. Lapped base is shown in picture to right. We start with a 220 grid
and finish with a 1000 grit. Our goal is a flat smooth surface (not mirror
finish). Please note the True Coppers are taking much longer for us to lap
therefore we have had to adjust our charge for this service.
- Ultra-120 Fan Clips - Add an
additional pair of fan clips to mount a second cooling fan. By default one
pair is included with the heatsink. This option adds a second pair.
Features
- The True Copper supports Intel P4 LGA 775, and AMD Socket AM2
Processors (All Models) - See below for details.
- Accepts 120mm fan (fan sold separately. See options)
- Extra set of fan wire clips included so that
you can mount two (2) x 120mm fans.
- 6mm heat pipes copper plated to prevent
oxidation maintaining best heat transfer condition
- Proprietary bent winglet to minimize airflow resistance
- Soldered fins to copper base to make effective contact
- Light weight and easy installation
-
Comes with thermal grease

* Warning - the TRUE Copper is very heavy. As
such we don't recommend that the computer is moved while the heatsink is mounted
on a standard tower case. If it's necessary to transport a tower case it should
be put on it's side to avoid causing stress to the motherboard.
Reviews

AnandTech - "With
the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme, the extra heatpipes do work, and
they work very well. The improvements in cooling efficiency with the Ultra
120 Extreme over the Tuniq and Ultra 120 are nothing short of amazing.
