Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme RT 1366 Rev C CPU Cooler

The Revision C of the Ultra-120 includes new performance enhancing changes to ensure superior cooling for 1366 processors. Changes include a new mounting mechanism, reshaped base, and improved fin design.

• Fan Options: The Ultra-120 Extreme 1366 RT comes with a fan by default. This option is to purchase an alternative fan (you still get the original that comes with the heatsink)
  • Thermaltake A2018 120mm Blue LED - 3 Function fan operates at full speed, thermally controlled or manually adjustable. Comes with PCI slot control to adjust the fans speed. 120x25mm, 3pin, 12V DC, 38.6-93.7CFM, 17-46.5dBA.

• Extra Ultra-120 Fan Clips - This heatsink comes with a fan holder.You should select this option if you wish to purchase an extra set of clips to mount a second 120mm fan. Clips fit 120x25mm or 120x38mm fans.
• Mounting Kits - Please note the following additional mounting brackets are optional. This heatsink includes mounting kits for the supported processor types listed under Specifications.
  • Intel LGA 1156 Bolt Thru Kit - Adapter that allows the Ultra-120 Extreme to mount on a Intel LGA 1156 Socket.
  • 939 Bolt Thru Kit - Adapter that allows the Ultra-120 Extreme to mount on a Socket 939 motherboard.
  • Xeon Bolt Thru Kit - Adapter that allows the Ultra-120 Extreme to mount a Xeon 5000/7000 Series processors.
• Lapping - Get the best performance from your heatsink with our Lapping option. We will lap the base giving it a nice flat and smooth finish. This option will Void the warranty of the heatsink making this product non-returnable once you have purchased this option. Lapped base is shown in picture to right. We start with a 220 grid and finish with a 1000 grit. Our goal is a flat smooth surface (not mirror finish).
• Heavy Duty Pro Lapping Kit - The Heavy Duty Pro Lapping Kit is a Do-It-Yourself heatsink lapping kit. It contains 5 sheets of sandpaper including 120, 220, 400, 800 & 1000 grit. By sanding the bottom of the heatsink you are removing the grooves and imperfections in the heatsink, thus creating a flatter smoother surface.
